Experience

Jeff Runyan started working in the travel industry and taking groups abroad as a freshman in college in the year 2000. 

During 17 years of his career, Jeff worked with FOCUS, the Fellowship of Catholic University Students. Jeff oversaw growth of FOCUS’ short-term missions to expand in over 50 countries with nearly 2,000 participants annually. He established dozens of international mission venues in every continent and vetted international collaborations to ensure long-term effectiveness and authentic local benefit.

Beyond short-term missions, Jeff directed dozens of international trainings, pilgrimages and conferences and has overseen every aspect of programming, logistical planning, and execution.

Drawing on 23 years of professional travel arranging, Catholic mission experience, and a vast array of international travel know-how, I will be able to guide you and your team in strategic vision to select the most ideal travel experiences and itineraries for the demographics you are desiring to serve.

Local Connections

Having worked very closely with bishops and Church leaders around the world, I am able to facilitate local church involvement in any program. I can help you consider strategies of how your program could support Catholicism in the local areas where you are visiting and how the efforts of the local Church could help your participants to grow in their faith.
